Mother Frances Carbrini was the first U.S. citizen to be canonized. Her feast day is December 22.
In conclusion, a saint is a person who is sacred and is seen also as a holy image. To be known as a living sacrament is a great honor that is why I chose Mother Frances Cabrini.

The saint I selected is mother Frances Cabrini. She was born on July 15, 1850, in the town of San Angelo, south of Milan in Italy. She was the youngest of thirteen children. With her eight other sisters she founded the Missionary sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
