I don't necessarily like art with borders in the piece itself, but this one in particular I do because it is not too flashy, it ties into the color scheme of the actual piece, and it sort of ties everything together. I think that if this piece didn't have the border in it, it would kind of seem like the subjects where "floating" around rather than being stationary... displayed 300 characters
