Throughout the film, Frodo is loyal to his friends and the fellowship, and is determined to complete the quest and destroy the ring once and for all.
He was at all times loyal to the fellowship, and did not let the ring get in the way of the friendship they shared.
When Frodo makes his decision to leave the fellowship and continue his quest alone, he was simply risking his own life to save those of his friends, as he knew the ring would eventually destroy them all... displayed 300 characters
