At first this seems unnecessary to deciding who was responsible for the war. Then it seems like a possible noble effort so as to encourage those in other nations to look at the people as simple-minded and potentially ignorant enough to have nothing to do with the Pacific War or any other. What it leads to, nevertheless, is the assumption that everyone not in a political position of authority has no idea what is going on with the state or why it is happening and subsequently follows blindly anyone who appears to know better...
