If we continue at the rate we are destroying it at now we will, in 40 years, have no rain forests left. When the loggers burn the rainforests off it creates carbon dioxide but because the source has been destroyed that would normally convert this into oxygen, the carbon dioxide stays in the air and damages the ozone layer...
